Walks are normally held on the third Sunday of every month, 10am start unless otherwise stated.

| Sunday 16th February 2025 | RSPB Sandy | Start location: Deepdale car park near the entrance to the TV transmitter station - What3Words: ///corrode.practical.evenings. Start Time: 10am Distance: 6 miles Walk Time: 3 hours 30 minutes Starting at Deepdale near the TV Transmitter station we will walk 6 miles taking the bridleway along part of the North Bedfordshire Heritage Trail through Sandy Heath and into the RSPB Reserve. We will walk around the reserve and return via the Skylark Trail and Quarry permissive paths. There will be an opportunity to stop at the RSPB Cafe for refreshments (or bring your own snacks and use the picnic area). Directions: Take the B1042 from Potton and turn right into Deepdale. Follow the road for half a mile and park near the TV mast. We will meet at this carpark. To cover the costs of running PWWG, we request that walkers pay either a £10 annual subscription or £2 per walk
attended. Children accompanied by a responsible adult free.
Dogs are welcome unless noted otherwise in the walk description. We reserve the right to request that dogs be kept in a lead.
